Klarway integrates with Moodle through an official plugin that activates supervision on already configured exams. Typical installation takes 2 to 10 business days, does not require migrating courses, and keeps the existing experience for teachers and students intact.
How to integrate Klarway with Moodle

Schedule the initial technical meeting
The Klarway integrations team schedules a session with the Moodle administrator and the institution's IT contact to review the version, active plugins and internal policies that may affect the installation.

Install the Klarway plugin in Moodle
The administrator installs the Klarway plugin package on the Moodle instance following the standard Moodle plugin procedure. Klarway provides the signed package and technical documentation.

Configure the connection credentials
In the plugin panel, fill in the credentials provided by Klarway (API key, tenant ID). This configuration enables the communication channel between Moodle and the Klarway platform.

Activate Klarway in a pilot exam
The academic team selects an existing exam and activates Klarway supervision from the exam settings. The plan (Start, Plus or Pro) and the desired rigor level are defined.

Distribute the Chrome extension to students
Students receive the Chrome extension installation link along with the exam instructions. The extension activates automatically when entering the exam in Moodle.

Validate the flow with a test session
At least one test exam session is held to confirm that biometric validation, recording and the report are generated correctly before opening the real exam to the full cohort.

Review the first auditable report
After the session, the academic team accesses the Klarway panel, reviews the report with flagged incidents and validates the available evidence format. This closes the onboarding cycle.
